Vikki & Daniel
Shendish Manor, Hertfordshire

Some weddings feel elegant from the very beginning. Others feel like a party waiting to happen. Vikki & Daniel’s beautiful Hertfordshire wedding somehow managed to be both — stylish, personal and packed with unforgettable live music moments from start to finish.

The gorgeous Hertfordshire venue, Shendish Manor, provided the perfect setting for a relaxed Summer wedding celebration. With its sweeping grounds, striking manor house and peaceful gardens, the venue offered a gorgeous backdrop for the couple’s outdoor ceremony and evening reception. Even a little Summer rain couldn’t steal the atmosphere.

When the weather briefly turned during the ceremony, spirits stayed high and guests embraced the moment completely. In true wedding-day fashion, a member of the Shendish Manor team stood holding an umbrella over our acoustic duo while the ceremony continued outdoors exactly as planned — creating one of those spontaneous moments that somehow made the whole day feel even more memorable.

Live Wedding Music for the Ceremony

For the ceremony itself, Vikki & Daniel chose our acoustic duo package, creating a laid-back live lounge atmosphere as guests arrived and took their seats outdoors.

The bridal entrance was accompanied by a beautiful live version of The One by Kodaline — an emotional moment made even more cinematic with the soft rain falling around the gardens. As soon as the ceremony ended, the mood flipped instantly into celebration with the recessional song, I Was Made For Lovin’ You by Kiss. It was bold, unexpected and completely set the tone for the night ahead.

A High-Energy 6 Piece Wedding Band

For the evening reception, we provided a high-energy 6-piece wedding band featuring female vocals, saxophone, keys, guitar, bass and drums. From the first song, the dance floor at Shendish Manor Hotel & Golf Course stayed packed. Vikki & Daniel chose a feel-good mix of favourites including Crazy In Love, Never Too Much, Sir Duke and Happy, blending disco, funk, pop and party classics throughout the night. Their first dance began with Ordinary by Alex Warren before seamlessly transitioning into Sonnentanz (Sun Don’t Shine) by Klangkarussell, as our live sax player joined guests on the dance floor and transformed the room into a late-night Ibiza-style party.

Interactive Entertainment & Packed Dance Floors

What made Vikki & Daniel’s wedding so memorable was how completely everyone embraced the party atmosphere. The couple barely left the dance floor all night, and their guests followed suit. Throughout the evening, our singer and saxophonist moved through the crowd, performing amongst guests and creating spontaneous, high-energy moments that made the celebration feel incredibly personal. It perfectly captured the atmosphere of the night, relaxed, joyful and completely centred around bringing everyone together.

A Wedding Celebration Full of Personality

What we loved most about Vikki & Daniel’s wedding was how naturally everything reflected them as a couple. Nothing felt overly staged or forced — just great people, incredible energy and a packed dance floor from beginning to end.

From rain-soaked ceremony moments to live sax solos in the middle of the crowd, the entire day struck that perfect balance between elegant wedding celebration and unforgettable party atmosphere. A truly brilliant summer wedding at Shendish Manor and one we’ll be talking about for a long time.
