Line & Rhody
North Cadbury Court, Somerset
Line & Rhody chose North Cadbury Court in Yeovil for their wedding, and it was easy to see why. Nestled in the Somerset countryside, this historic manor offers elegant architecture, sprawling gardens, and a sense of relaxed luxury that sets the perfect scene for a celebration. The couple and their guests enjoyed drinks and canapés outside, basking in the beautiful weather before heading into the ballroom for the main event.
Interactive Live Music & Guest Performances
We love creating a lively, interactive atmosphere, and this wedding was no exception. Throughout the evening, our 7 piece band, featuring saxophone and trumpet, performed alongside the wedding guests and helped to create unforgettable, high-energy moments. This even took the shape of our singer and guitarist in the middle of the dance floor performing stood on chairs for the iconic guitar solo in Tina Turner’s – The Best. One of the best men, even joined the band to perform the groom’s favourite song on drums — a personal and exciting surprise that had the whole ballroom buzzing.

A First Dance To Remember
Earlier in the evening Line & Rhody’s opened the celebration with their first dance. They chose the gorgeous “A Sunday Kind of Love” by Etta James, which we performed live. We always offer this service as part of a standard Anthem booking and it’s something we’ve always been told by couples is one of their most cherished memories and the perfect way to set the tone for the rest of the night.

Client Requests & Crowd-Favourite Hits
Line & Rhody hand-picked some of their favourite tracks from our repertoire, and we were delighted to bring them to life. Guests danced and sang along to Dancing Queen, Unwritten, Signed, Sealed, Delivered, and September, ensuring the party was full of energy and sing-along moments from start to finish.
Dance-Offs, Crowd Interaction & High-Energy Fun
No wedding party is complete without a few playful competitions! During the evening set, we hosted a dance-off featuring the bride and groom, who took to it with incredible spirit and energy. Guests cheered, laughed, and joined in, as one side of the room competed against the other for the all import title of dance-off champions.
We closed our set with “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner, sending the crowd into full celebration mode. The party then continued in the venue’s unique basement club until the early hours of the next morning, showing that none of the guests wanted the night to end – exactly the kind of celebration we love to be part of at Anthem Function Band.
KIND WORDS
Phenomenal Band For Our Wedding Night!
Phenomenal band for our wedding night! They made the setlist very personal based on what they discussed with us beforehand, and they even made arrangements to play my favourite song, not on their repertoire. Six months after the wedding now and we will definitely book them for anniversaries/upcoming birthdays.
