One of the standout features of live wedding entertainment at Micklefield Hall is the ability to make the party feel truly interactive. Our singers and roaming musicians can move among the guests, sparking personal moments and a sense of connection and energy that only live music can create. Callie and Will told us early on that a full dance floor was hugely important to them and we made sure to fulfil their request right from the first note!

A Sunshine-Filled Start with Acoustic Duo Performance

After a beautiful ceremony, celebrations began outside in the sunshine, where our acoustic duo provided a relaxed, intimate soundtrack as guests mingled. Callie and Will hosted a stylish cocktail hour, offering espresso martinis and margaritas while friends and family soaked up the music and the Hertfordshire countryside views.

The couple made a spectacular entrance to the wedding breakfast, with every guest swinging napkins overhead — a playful, celebratory moment that perfectly captured the day’s joyful, fun and relaxed atmosphere. It was the kind of personal touch that makes a wedding truly memorable.

Live Band At Hertfordshire Wedding

As evening fell, our 6-piece live band, including a live saxophonist, took to the stage in The Great Barn for two high-energy 60-minute sets. Callie and Will hand-picked a setlist of crowd favourites, including Unwritten, Murder on the Dancefloor, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, and Don’t Stop Me Now. From start to finish, the live wedding music kept guests dancing, singing along, and fully immersed in the celebration.

Callie and Will’s Hertfordshire wedding perfectly demonstrates the magic of live wedding music. The dance floor remained full throughout our two 60-minute sets, as guests sang, danced, and celebrated together. Every song, from upbeat classics to interactive crowd favourites, was designed to keep the energy alive, leaving guests with memories they’ll treasure for years.
