The evening celebrations took place inside the venue’s impressive Tythe Barn, where friends and family gathered ready for an unforgettable night of live music. From the first dance through to the final singalong, the atmosphere was everything a great wedding reception should be—relaxed, joyful and packed with energy.

A Wedding Reception Full of Live Music

For Nikki & Rob’s evening entertainment, we performed as a 6-piece live wedding band featuring female vocals, saxophone, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. Having performed in Tewin Bury’s Tythe Barn many times, this line up always feels like a nice mix of energy and big live sound, without overpowering the space.

Across two 60-minute live sets, the dance floor quickly became the place to be. The evening naturally built in energy as guests of every generation found themselves singing along, dancing together and making the most of every moment. One of the things we love most about wedding celebrations like this is watching the party evolve organically, with every guest getting involved and feeling like a part of the occasion.

A Beautiful First Dance

Every first dance tells its own story, and Nikki & Rob chose something wonderfully timeless. We performed a live version of Don’t Know Much by Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville as the couple shared their first dance together as husband and wife.

There’s something incredibly special about hearing a favourite song performed live. It allows the moment to breathe, giving couples the chance to simply enjoy being surrounded by the people they love most. As the dance floor gradually filled around Nikki & Rob, it created one of those memorable moments that perfectly captured the emotion of the day before seamlessly leading into an evening of celebration.

Interactive Entertainment

One of the standout moments of the evening arrived thanks to the wedding’s two Scottish MCs. They encouraged the entire room to join together for a huge rendition of 500 Miles by The Proclaimers. Before long, every voice in the Tythe Barn seemed to be singing at the top of their lungs, creating one of those unforgettable wedding moments that nobody sees coming but everyone remembers.

Throughout the night we also made full use of our wireless systems, with the band spending plenty of time out on the dance floor, performing amongst Nikki & Rob’s guests. Breaking down that barrier between the band and the audience helped everyone feel part of the performance, creating an immersive experience that kept the energy high from beginning to end.

Nikki & Rob’s wedding at Tewin Bury Farm was a wonderful reminder that the best celebrations aren’t defined by elaborate schedules or carefully choreographed moments, but by genuine connection. It was a privilege to be part of such a special day, helping provide the soundtrack as Nikki & Rob celebrated with their closest friends and family inside the beautiful Tythe Barn. We Had The Pleasure Of Welcoming Anthem To Our Wedding!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Anthem to our wedding this month, and boy are we glad we did! We chose their 6-piece line up, and they had the dance floor rocking all night! The musicians are top-notch, their play list was fantastic, full of crowd pleasing favourites, and everyone has been talking non-stop about how brilliant the band was. Their advance A/V package meant that some of the musicians were able to come on to the floor and party with us which made the party so much more fun!
